In the 2006-2007 school year:

• Students improved, on average, close to one full grade level after tutoring with an Experience Corps member.
• 84% of teachers reported significant progress in student self confidence after working with an Experience Corps member.
• 100% of teachers were satisfied with the quality of tutoring and the impact of Experience Corps on their students.
• 100% of volunteers reported satisfaction with their tutoring experience.
  
• 100% of members stated that they felt their service was useful to the community, the school, and the student with whom they worked.
  
• 100% agree that Experience Corps enabled them to better understand the needs of the school and the students at their site.
• 75% agree that Experience Corps allowed them to socialize with other adults.
  
• 100% agree that Experience Corps allowed them to better understand the value of service.
  
• 92% agree that Experience Corps allowed them to learn about new topics.
